Security Officer

CTL Atlantis is seeking a vigilant, disciplined, and reliable Security Officer to safeguard its project sites, personnel, materials, and equipment. The successful candidate will monitor site access, conduct routine patrols, prevent unauthorized activities, respond to security incidents, and ensure a safe and secure environment for all staff and visitors.

• Control access to project sites by verifying the identity and authorization of all visitors, staff, and vehicles.
• Conduct routine patrols of the site to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor and protect company assets, materials, equipment, and facilities.
• Inspect vehicles entering and leaving the site to prevent unauthorized removal of company property.
• Record daily activities, incidents, visitors, and deliveries in the occurrence log.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents, reporting them to management.
• Enforce site safety, security procedures, and access control protocols.
• Coordinate with other security personnel during shift handovers to ensure continuity.
• Report suspicious activities, security risks, and safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous but firm security services at all times.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a security role, preferably within construction sites, industrial facilities, or gated estates.
• Valid security license or certification from a recognized Nigerian security training institution.
• Physically fit and able to conduct patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond to emergencies.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain accurate security records.
• Honest, trustworthy, disciplined, and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must reside in Lekki or be willing to relocate before resumption.
