Skipper Eye-Q Super Speciality Eye Hospital is seeking a skilled Ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive eye care, perform surgical procedures, and deliver high-quality patient consultations. The role involves clinical diagnosis, medical and surgical treatment, patient education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary eye care team.
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including slit-lamp, funduscopy, and retinal checks
Diagnose and manage conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and infections
Perform advanced surgical procedures, including LASIK, corneal repairs, cataract removal, and specialized retina or pediatric surgeries
Manage urgent eye care cases and provide consultations for complex conditions
Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, as well as ophthalmic medications
Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and technicians
Educate patients on eye health, disease prevention, and post-operative care
Medical Degree (MBBS) from an accredited institution
Completion of residency program in ophthalmology; fellowship in sub-specialties preferred
Valid medical license and board certification to practice ophthalmology
Exceptional hand-eye coordination for microsurgery and strong analytical diagnostic skills
Effective communication and patient management abilities
Previous experience in hospitals, eye clinics, or surgical centers is preferred
