Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Junior Consultant

The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Junior Consultant will assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of EHS programs, audits, and training services in compliance with OSHA 2007, EMCA 1999, and related regulations. The position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual capable of supporting clients to achieve environmental and workplace safety standards.

• Assist in conducting EHS audits, risk assessments, and environmental reviews.
• Support the preparation of EIA and Environmental Audit reports.
• Participate in the design and delivery of EHS training programs.
• Ensure compliance with national environmental and occupational health and safety laws.
• Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with senior consultants in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Undertake field visits and site inspections as required.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline (minimum 2 years study).
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in an EHS consultancy.
• Knowledge of OSHA 2007, EMCA 1999, and relevant subsidiary legislations.
• Familiarity with EIA and Environmental Audit processes.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Good analytical, report writing, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across Kenya.
