Remote Technical Writer

A Security & IT firm is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to create clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation for software products and technical solutions.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, API references, installation guides, and tutorials.

Research, test, and document complex software products and technical environments.

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to produce accurate technical content.

Develop documentation for developers, software engineers, business analysts, and other technical stakeholders.

Update documentation to reflect product enhancements and system changes.

Ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and aligned with industry best practices.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in technical writing.

Strong portfolio demonstrating developer documentation, including user guides, installation guides, API references, tutorials, or technical articles.

Experience understanding, testing, and documenting complex software products and technical environments.

Ability to tailor content for diverse audiences, including software engineers, developers, business analysts, and technical stakeholders.

Excellent written communication, research, and documentation skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to simplify technical concepts.
