Machine Learning Engineer

MailerLite is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to build, deploy, and optimize production-grade machine learning models, including large language model (LLM) solutions, that drive product innovation and business impact.

Design, build, and deploy machine learning models into production environments.

Develop and optimize ML solutions for real-world business applications.

Fine-tune and improve Large Language Models (LLMs) for production use.

Perform feature engineering, model evaluation, and performance optimization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into products.

Monitor, maintain, and improve deployed machine learning models.

Ensure models are robust, scalable, and aligned with best practices.

Minimum of 3 years' experience building and deploying machine learning models in production.

Strong understanding of applied machine learning, including feature engineering, calibration, leakage avoidance, and model evaluation.

Experience working with imbalanced datasets and time-series problems.

Hands-on experience with supervised fine-tuning of Large Language Models (LLMs).

Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, pandas/Polars, and gradient boosting.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and software engineering skills.
