Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Design solar PV and battery energy storage systems for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) projects.
- Conduct site assessments, energy audits, load analysis, and shading assessments.
- Develop system layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, and engineering drawings.
- Perform system sizing and technical calculations.
- Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, safety requirements, and industry best practices.
- Optimize system performance and efficiency through effective engineering design.
- Provide technical support and design information to sales and project teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certification in Solar PV Design or Renewable Energy is an added advantage.
Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in solar PV system design or renewable energy engineering.
Experience designing Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar PV and battery energy storage systems.
Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, or similar design software.
Strong understanding of electrical system design, protection systems, and engineering standards.
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
