Accountant

Sarabel Logistics and Security Services Limited is seeking an experienced Accountant to lead its accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial management.

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Manage petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare regular bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting records for clients and company operations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage statutory tax obligations, including PAYE, VAT, Withholding Tax, and other applicable taxes.
• Oversee payroll processing, employee payslips, and pension remittances.
• Prepare and process client invoices.
• Monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and support debt recovery.
• Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment of approved obligations.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and management decision-making.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by Management.

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5–20 years' relevant accounting experience, preferably in a structured corporate environment.
• Professional accounting certification is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian tax, payroll, and pension regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
