Remote Business Development & Capture Research Specialist

A remote opportunity for an experienced professional to support government contracting business development through procurement research, opportunity identification, capture strategy and proposal development.

• Research government contracting opportunities and procurement activities.
• Identify historical federal awards, incumbents, agencies, competitors and acquisition patterns.
• Review solicitations and pre-solicitation notices to identify key requirements.
• Assess opportunities and determine whether they are viable and aligned with business capabilities.
• Support capture activities, procurement research and proposal development.
• Analyse government acquisition information and provide clear written insights.

• Demonstrated experience in government contracting business development, capture, procurement research or proposal development.
• Working knowledge of federal and state procurement processes.
• Understanding of service codes, socioeconomic set-asides, Sources Sought, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and government acquisition terminology.
• Ability to research historical federal awards, incumbents, agencies, competitors and acquisition patterns.
• Ability to quickly identify important requirements in solicitations and pre-solicitation notices.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Ability to independently distinguish viable opportunities from poor-fit solicitations.
