Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented Construction Project Assistant to join our growing construction and interiors team in Abuja.


This is a hands-on role involving both office and site work. The successful candidate will support the coordination and execution of construction projects, while gaining practical experience in project management, procurement, budgeting, documentation and site operations.


We are looking for someone who takes initiative, pays attention to detail, communicates effectively and follows tasks through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Site & Project Support

  • Visit construction sites and document daily progress.
  • Maintain daily site reports, photographs and project records.
  • Track work completed against project schedules.
  • Monitor artisans, labour and subcontractors.
  • Record site issues, delays, defects and outstanding works.
  • Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure they are completed.
  • Assist with site measurements, quantities and inspections.
  • Check materials delivered to site against approved orders.

Procurement & Cost Tracking

  • Obtain and organise supplier quotations.
  • Track material orders and deliveries.
  • Maintain project budgets and expenditure trackers.
  • Organise invoices, receipts and purchase orders.
  • Maintain supplier and subcontractor records.
  • Assist with comparing supplier pricing and identifying cost differences.

Project Administration

  • Maintain project schedules and task trackers.
  • Keep project documentation organised and up to date.
  • Follow up with suppliers, artisans and subcontractors.
  • Prepare weekly project progress reports.
  • Assist with project meetings and action-point tracking.
  • Support snagging and project close-out activities.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Real Estate, Engineering or any related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Previous construction-site experience is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Good numerical and analytical ability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and other productivity tools.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable working in both an office and construction-site environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to learn and take initiative.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday. 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Occasional site visits may be required depending on project schedules.
