Job Summary

CCSI is seeking an experienced IT Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data protection, systems, technology services, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement CCSI’s IT strategy, workplan, policies, and technology roadmap.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, Microsoft 365, and organisational systems.
  • Ensure reliable IT support across head office, project offices, and field locations.
  • Lead cybersecurity, data protection, access controls, and information-security initiatives.
  • Develop backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity systems.
  • Manage IT assets, software licences, procurement, budgets, vendors, and service contracts.
  • Provide technology support for programmes, research, training, and field activities.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, digital transformation, AI, and enterprise-system improvements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team.
  • Ensure IT compliance, risk management, documentation, and audit requirements.
  • Advise senior management and collaborate with departments on technology-related needs.
  • Travel within and outside Nigeria as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ progressive IT management experience, including at least 3 years in the NGO, health, or development sector.
  • Previous NGO/INGO experience is required.
  • Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud systems (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), and digital platforms.
  • Knowledge of Health Information Systems, data visualisation, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong project management, budgeting, and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian ICT policies, labour laws, and donor compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to work in low-resource and fast-changing environments.
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and cybersecurity.
