M-KOPA is seeking a strategic and experienced Lead People Partner – Technology to support its technology organization and help shape the development, retention, and growth of its engineering talent.
The successful candidate will partner closely with the CTO and leadership teams across Engineering, Data, Analytics, IT, and Security, aligning people strategy with business and technology priorities across a globally distributed workforce.
The Lead People Partner will provide strategic people leadership across Engineering and Product while supporting organizational design, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance, talent development, and complex employee relations.
The role also involves managing a broad portfolio of functions and working with leaders across different operating models and markets.
Lead organizational design, workforce planning, levelling, and team transformation initiatives.
Own end-to-end people partnering across Engineering and Product.
Serve as a trusted advisor to product, design, and digital lending leaders.
Align people strategies with product delivery and evolving team structures.
Lead and develop a Senior People Partner, providing coaching, direction, and support.
Use people analytics to inform decisions around capability, attrition, and workforce costs.
Partner with Centres of Excellence to translate people data into actionable strategies.
Drive effectiveness across distributed teams by improving performance, engagement, and team dynamics.
Manage complex employee relations matters, including senior and sensitive cases.
Support people initiatives across fraud, workplaces, impact, corporate communications, and marketing.
Help build consistent and effective people-partnering standards across the technology portfolio.
