Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Angala Financial Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced CEO to lead its commercial strategy, product growth, strategic partnerships, and overall business performance across the fintech and payments sector.

• Define and execute the company’s go-to-market and commercialisation strategy.
• Lead the launch and growth of payments and agency banking products.
• Develop strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, aggregators, and distributors.
• Build and lead a high-performing management team.
• Develop scalable acquisition channels for merchants, SMEs, agents, and smallholders.
• Drive transaction volumes, revenue, margins, and profitability.
• Own the full P&L, including revenue, costs, unit economics, cash flow, and financial discipline.
• Maintain strong regulatory, governance, and risk management standards.

• 10+ years of senior management experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial services.
• Deep understanding of the African and Nigerian fintech and payments ecosystem.
• Proven track record launching, commercialising, or scaling financial products.
• Experience taking products to market and building scalable businesses.
• Demonstrated success in revenue generation, business development, and strategic leadership.
• Strong commercial, financial, and people leadership skills.
