MEP Engineer

A company in Abuja is urgently seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building services works across construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, project coordination abilities, and experience managing MEP works on residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

• Manage and coordinate MEP works across construction projects.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and other building services systems.
• Interpret and review MEP, architectural, and structural drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate MEP contractors and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with technical specifications.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Support effective planning and execution of MEP installations.
• Ensure MEP works comply with applicable standards and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain relevant technical and project documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an MEP Engineer.
• Proven experience managing MEP works on residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and other building services systems.
• Ability to interpret MEP, architectural, and structural drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project coordination and contractor management abilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with construction/project management software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
