Associate – Commercial & Litigation Practice

A reputable full-service law firm is seeking a skilled Associate to support its Commercial & Litigation Practice by handling legal research, commercial transactions, and litigation matters.

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions.
• Handle litigation matters and represent clients where required.
• Prepare legal documents, pleadings, and case strategies.
• Support commercial transactions and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage multiple legal assignments while meeting deadlines.

• LL.B degree from a reputable university and admission to the Nigerian Bar.
• 4–5 years post-call and NYSC experience in active legal practice.
• A Second Class Upper (2:1) degree from both the university and the Nigerian Law School is an added advantage.
• Strong background in commercial law and litigation practice.
• Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments, and consistently meet deadlines.
