A reputable full-service law firm in Lekki is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to lead commercial transactions, handle complex litigation matters, and provide mentorship and strategic support within the legal practice.

Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
Manage and handle litigation matters from inception to resolution.
Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice to clients.
Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and dispute resolution matters.
Supervise, mentor, and develop junior lawyers.
Support the administration and day-to-day management of legal matters within the firm.
Manage multiple transactions and litigation cases while ensuring timely delivery and compliance.
Required Qualifications
LL.B degree from a reputable university and admission to the Nigerian Bar.
9–15 years post-call and NYSC experience in active legal practice.
A Second Class Upper (2:1) degree from both the university and the Nigerian Law School is an added advantage.
Demonstrable experience in commercial law, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements.
Extensive litigation experience with strong advocacy skills.
Excellent legal drafting, research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proven experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
