St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is seeking an experienced ICU Nurse to provide specialized critical care, monitor critically ill patients, and support life-saving interventions in the Intensive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and assess critically ill patients continuously.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments.
Operate and monitor ICU equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and oxygen therapy devices.
Record vital signs and promptly report changes to physicians.
Assist doctors during emergency procedures and critical interventions.
Provide emergency nursing care and respond effectively to life-threatening situations.
Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
Educate and support patients' families on treatment plans and patient care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) qualification (Compulsory).
ICU/Critical Care Certification (Compulsory).
Registered Midwife (RM) qualification is an added advantage.
Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) practicing license.
4–10 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience.
Experience with ventilator management and emergency response is an advantage.
Strong critical care, clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to patient safety.
