Medical Laboratory Scientist / Technologist

Margaret Lawrence University Teaching Hospital (MLUTH) is seeking qualified Medical Laboratory Scientists and Technologists to perform diagnostic laboratory procedures while ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality patient care.

Conduct laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures accurately and efficiently.

Analyze and interpret laboratory results to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of laboratory specimens.

Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.

Adhere to laboratory quality assurance, safety, and infection control standards.

Maintain accurate laboratory records and reports.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (for Scientists) or a minimum of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (for Technologists).

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a medical laboratory, clinic, or hospital.

Certification from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).

Valid and current practicing license.

Relevant professional certifications are an added advantage.
