Medical Doctor

Jolaleke Hospital is hiring a qualified and compassionate Medical Doctor to provide high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat medical conditions, manage inpatient and outpatient care, respond to emergencies, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.

Examine, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.

Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans.

Provide emergency medical care when required.

Admit, review, and manage hospitalized patients.

Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

Request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic investigations.

Refer patients to specialists where necessary.

Educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices.

Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, laboratory scientists, and other healthcare professionals.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Participate in clinical meetings and continuous professional development activities.

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.

Valid practicing license issued by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

NYSC completed or exemption certificate.

Minimum of 4 years post-NYSC clinical experience in a reputable hospital.

Experience in emergency medicine, inpatient, and outpatient care is an advantage.

Excellent clinical, diagnostic, communication, and decision-making skills.

Strong teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered approach.

Knowledge of electronic medical records is an added advantage.

Must be available for full-time employment and flexible work schedules.
