A restaurant in Bariga is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook/Griller to prepare high-quality pastries, small chops, and grilled meals while maintaining excellent food presentation and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen and deliver consistent, delicious meals.
Prepare pastries, small chops, and baked items using accurate recipes and baking techniques.
Operate the grill station to prepare meats, fish, and other grilled dishes to quality standards.
Ensure proper food presentation, portioning, and consistency.
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Monitor ingredient quality and report stock shortages when necessary.
Support menu development by contributing creative food ideas and recipes.
Work efficiently with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Pastry Chef, Grill Operator, or similar role in a restaurant or catering service.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of baking, grilling, and food preparation techniques.
Good attention to detail with excellent food presentation skills.
Must reside in Bariga or nearby areas.
