Accountant

A growing clothing store in Gwarimpa, Abuja is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide accurate financial reports to support business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge and experience within the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or related industry.

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and cash flow reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and financial transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Manage daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping and expense tracking.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support management decision-making.
• Utilize accounting software to process financial transactions efficiently.
• Support audits and implement effective financial controls to improve business performance.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ICAN is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' proven accounting experience in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or a related industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy.
