Territory Trade Officer

Penedge Limited is seeking an experienced Territory Trade Officer to drive sales growth, strengthen key customer relationships, and maximize market share across assigned territories. The ideal candidate will oversee trade execution, merchandising, inventory management, and channel performance while ensuring excellent account management within the wine and spirits industry.

• Drive demand generation, increase product off-take, and maximize sales opportunities across assigned accounts.
• Monitor channel profitability, reconcile customer accounts, and recover outstanding debts.
• Ensure optimal product availability, maintain FEFO inventory rotation, and enforce merchandising standards.
• Execute daily route plans, monitor stock levels, and prepare sales, off-take, and market intelligence reports.
• Build strong relationships with store managers, merchandisers, and key account stakeholders.
• Represent the company at trade promotions, exhibitions, and industry events.
• Supervise, coach, and support merchandisers while maintaining high operational standards.

• Direct experience in selling wine and spirits (currently or previously) is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of sales, merchandising, trade marketing, and inventory management.
• Excellent account management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze sales performance, market trends, and channel profitability.
• Strong reporting, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and achieve sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
