Human Resources Manager

A leading automobile company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead its HR function and implement people strategies that drive business growth. The ideal candidate will oversee talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compliance, organizational development, and HR operations while fostering a high-performing workplace culture.

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and business objectives.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Manage performance management processes, including KPI development, appraisals, and employee development plans.
• Oversee employee relations, disciplinary processes, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate compensation, payroll administration, leave management, and HR documentation.
• Prepare HR reports, monitor HR metrics, and recommend process improvements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team while promoting accountability and operational excellence.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional HR certification such as CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent is required.

Minimum of 7 years' HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Experience in the automobile, manufacturing, or engineering industry is an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, HR best practices, and performance management systems.

Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
