Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a Nigerian professional residing in Abuja with at least 3 years of experience in programme coordination, nonprofit management, project management or community development. Candidates should have experience in programme design, implementation, reporting, stakeholder coordination and grant writing, with strong organisational, communication and monitoring and evaluation skills.
The role requires a highly organised and proactive professional who can translate programme ideas into structured implementation plans, coordinate teams and stakeholders, track deliverables, identify challenges and ensure that programmes are delivered effectively and in alignment with AVHF's mission and strategic priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Social Work, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in programme coordination, nonprofit management, or community development.
- Experience working on health, reproductive health, women’s health or community development programmes is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders including healthcare professionals and community leaders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated experience in grant writing or fundraising support.
- Experience in programme design, implementation and reporting.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation is strongly preferred.
- Experience coordinating stakeholders, staff or volunteers.
- Experience working with remote or distributed teams is an advantage.
