Packing Chief In-Charge

A pharmaceutical manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Packing Chief In-Charge to oversee packaging operations, ensure compliance with GMP standards, supervise packaging teams, and drive production efficiency while maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance.

• Plan and supervise daily pharmaceutical packaging operations.
• Ensure packaging targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Warehouse, and Engineering teams.
• Monitor packaging line performance and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Review batch packaging records and investigate deviations.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate packaging personnel.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and packaging line changeovers.
• Monitor packaging material usage and reduce waste.
• Enforce workplace safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certification in GMP or pharmaceutical manufacturing is an advantage.
• 5–8 years' experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or packaging.
• 2–3 years' supervisory experience in pharmaceutical packaging operations.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging processes, cGMP, GDP, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent leadership, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production documentation systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
