Job Summary


She Code Africa is seeking a Partnerships and Grants Officer to support its Partnerships, Fundraising, and Business Development team. The successful candidate will help identify funding opportunities, prepare grant proposals, manage donor reporting, ensure grant compliance, and build strong relationships with partners and funders to advance the organization's mission of empowering African women in technology.


Key Responsibilities

Research and identify relevant grant and funding opportunities.

Support the preparation and submission of grant proposals and donor reports.

Track grant applications, funding lifecycles, and reporting deadlines.

Ensure compliance with donor requirements and grant agreements.

Maintain grants and partnerships databases and documentation.

Support fundraising initiatives and partnership development.

Coordinate communication with donors, sponsors, and partners.

Collaborate with program, finance, and operations teams to gather grant-related information.



Required Qualifications

Open to fem3le candidates residing in Lagos, Nigeria.

2–3 years of experience in grants, partnerships, fundraising, research, or a related field.

Experience supporting grant applications, donor reporting, or fundraising initiatives.

Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accurate documentation.

Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and grant-tracking tools.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in a nonprofit or social impact organization is an advantage.

Willingness to travel occasionally when required.
