Job Summary

Blue Phoenix Deepwater is seeking an experienced Safety Officer I to oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance on offshore operations. The successful candidate will promote safe work practices, deliver HSE training, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and monitor personnel on Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance.
  • Deliver HSE training and promote safe working practices.
  • Monitor worksite operations to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
  • Promote the company's Safe Behaviour Programme.
  • Advise management on health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Support continuous improvement of offshore safety performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Offshore Safety Officer.
  • Minimum of 3 years' related offshore experience.
  • Previous experience working on a similar vessel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • ISPON and/or IOSH certification is mandatory.
  • Radio Active Officer Safety Training certification.
