Network Fabric & Security Infrastructure Engineer

A company in Lagos is seeking a skilled Network Fabric & Security Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in network engineering, security architecture, and zero-trust networking principles.

• Design and maintain secure multi-tier VLAN architecture.
• Manage private Certificate Authority (CA) and tenant X.509 certificates.
• Configure mutual TLS (mTLS) and packet filtering rules.
• Maintain staff access revocation infrastructure.
• Monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of network infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in network engineering, including at least 1 year in a security-focused role.
• Experience with VLAN architecture, Certificate Authority (CA), X.509 certificates, mTLS, and Linux networking tools.
• Strong understanding of zero-trust network security principles.
• CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or similar certification is an added advantage.
