Job Summary

An experienced HR Operations Lead is needed to oversee end-to-end human resources operations, employee relations, and workforce administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR operations experience, strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, and the ability to drive HR compliance, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day HR operations and ensure the smooth management of the employee lifecycle.
  • Manage employee relations by resolving workplace issues and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, statutory regulations, and internal HR policies.
  • Coordinate workforce planning, recruitment support, onboarding, and offboarding activities.
  • Prepare HR reports, workforce metrics, and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Partner with business leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Support performance management, employee engagement, and talent development initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, systems, and operational efficiency.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in HR Operations and Employee Relations.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, HR policies, and statutory compliance.
  • Previous experience as an HR Business Partner within FMCG, logistics, manufacturing, or a similar industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
