Job Summary

OPay is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools, with the ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to support business operations and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Create automated reports and interactive dashboards using advanced Microsoft Excel features.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular performance reports.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, Dashboards, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
