Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end credit administration process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Review, validate, and maintain loan documentation before loan disbursement.
- Manage collateral documentation, perfection, custody, and release processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies.
- Monitor credit facilities to ensure all documentation remains valid and up to date.
- Coordinate loan disbursement processes after all approval conditions have been satisfied.
- Liaise with internal departments, legal advisers, and external stakeholders on credit-related matters.
- Maintain accurate credit records and prepare periodic management and regulatory reports.
- Identify operational risks within the credit administration function and recommend process improvements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Mentor and supervise members of the credit administration team to ensure operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years' experience in credit administration, credit operations, or credit risk within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of loan documentation, collateral management, regulatory compliance, and credit administration processes.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ACIB, ACCA, CFA, or FRM are an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
