Job Summary

A manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst / Documentation Officer to manage organizational documentation, maintain accurate databases, and generate insightful reports that support operational efficiency and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, and experience supporting audits and document management processes within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant organizational documentation.
  • Manage electronic document management systems to improve traceability, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
  • Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports and analyze operational data for decision-making.
  • Maintain and update databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing and organizing required documentation.
  • Assist with certification programmes and traceability initiatives where applicable.
  • Monitor document control processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare periodic reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve documentation workflows and data management practices.
  • Ensure secure storage, retrieval, and confidentiality of company records and documents.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Experience supporting audits, certification programmes, or traceability systems is an added advantage.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, reporting, data analysis, and database management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and cloud-based storage platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
