Extrusion Technician (Electrical)

A manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Extrusion Technician (Electrical) to install, maintain, and troubleshoot extrusion machinery to ensure efficient production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong industrial electrical maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to support continuous process improvements while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

• Set up, calibrate, and maintain extrusion machinery for optimal production performance.
• Monitor equipment during production and promptly diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on extrusion machines and related equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals for maintenance and repairs.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Prepare maintenance reports and monitor the use of spare parts and maintenance materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and 5S workplace practices.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve operational performance.

• HND, OND, or Trade Test Certification in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PVC, PPR, plastic extrusion, or related production equipment is an added advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
