Data Analyst

Transsion Holdings is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to turn complex data into actionable insights from their office in Lagos. The successful candidate will leverage advanced Excel, SQL, and business intelligence visualization tools to extract, manipulate, and present critical business metrics. This role requires a strong technical foundation and exceptional communication skills to effectively translate statistical findings into strategic recommendations for management.

Perform data extraction, transformation, and manipulation across corporate databases using SQL.

Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau to track key performance metrics.

Conduct detailed data analysis using advanced Microsoft Excel techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and deliver actionable business intelligence.

Present analytical findings and data-driven insights clearly to stakeholders and management teams to support decision-making processes.

Ensure high standards of data integrity, accuracy, and quality across all analytical outputs.

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

2–4 years of proven experience in data analysis or business intelligence.

Strong proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel.

Demonstrated experience working with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization platforms.

Strong working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and querying.

Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is an added advantage.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

High level of attention to detail and data accuracy.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical insights to non-technical audiences.
