Quantity Surveyor

Micdee Designs Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, and financial control for construction and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in quantity surveying, cost analysis, and project cost management.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and project budgets.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
• Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within budget.
• Evaluate contractor quotations and negotiate project costs.
• Prepare tender and contract documentation.
• Support procurement activities and vendor cost evaluations.
• Conduct cost reporting, valuations, and project financial analysis.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure cost-effective project delivery.

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as Registered Quantity Surveyor (RQS), membership of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), or registration with the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in architectural projects, interior fit-out projects, workspace and office design projects, and commercial and residential construction.
• Experience in furniture, joinery, and office fit-out costing is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced), Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, CostX or similar quantity take-off software, Planswift, Bluebeam Revu, Revit (basic understanding), and ERP or procurement management software.
