Full Stack Mobile App Developer

A fast-growing startup is seeking a Full Stack Mobile App Developer to build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications and backend systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable features, integrating third-party services, and ensuring smooth performance across iOS and Android platforms. This role is best suited for a developer who thrives in a startup environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality digital products.

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications (iOS & Android)
• Build secure and scalable backend APIs and database structures
• Integrate third-party services such as Firebase, payment gateways, maps, notifications, and analytics
• Debug, optimise, and improve application performance and user experience
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to implement new features
• Maintain high code quality through testing, documentation, and code reviews
• Support deployment and maintenance on Apple App Store and Google Play Store

• Strong experience with Flutter (preferred) or React Native
• Experience with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Messaging, Analytics)
• Backend development experience using Node.js, Laravel, or similar frameworks
• Experience working with REST APIs and database design
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub version control
• Experience publishing and maintaining mobile apps on iOS and Android stores
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience with AI integrations (e.g., OpenAI APIs) is an advantage
• Knowledge of AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar cloud platforms is a plus
• Experience with location services, push notifications, and payment systems is an advantage
• Understanding of mobile security best practices and GDPR compliance is a plus
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills and attention to detail
