Job Summary

Royal Power and Energy Limited is seeking a Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and overall management of a residential estate in Lekki. The role ensures a safe, functional, and well-maintained living environment for residents while coordinating staff, contractors, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance and operation of estate facilities and infrastructure
  • Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems, generators, water systems, plumbing, and utilities
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, roads, drainage, and common areas
  • Supervise facility staff including cleaners, gardeners, and maintenance personnel
  • Coordinate and monitor external contractors and service providers
  • Ensure compliance with estate standards, safety requirements, and regulations
  • Handle residents’ complaints and ensure timely resolution of service requests
  • Maintain high resident satisfaction levels
  • Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments
  • Support emergency response planning and incident management
  • Assist in budget planning and control of facility expenses
  • Monitor utility usage and recommend cost-saving measures
  • Maintain records of assets, equipment, and maintenance history
  • Recommend facility upgrades and improvements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent in Engineering, Facilities Management, Estate Management, Building Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in estate, hotel, or facility management
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and vendor management
  • Good leadership and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
