HSE Officer (Health, Safety, and Environment)

An organization is seeking a vigilant HSE Officer to develop, implement, and enforce health and safety frameworks across construction sites. The role focuses on ensuring a zero-accident environment through strict compliance and proactive risk management.

• Enforce site safety policies, hazard identification, and risk assessments
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety inductions for site teams and artisans
• Audit site access control, PPE compliance, and machinery safety conditions
• Investigate, record, and report incidents and near-misses with root-cause analysis
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations
• Promote a strong safety culture across all site operations

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Professional HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, ISPON, OSHA) is mandatory
• 3–5 years of experience in safety enforcement on construction sites
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Firm commitment to safety standards and compliance
