Bridgemead HR is recruiting a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer to provide strategic leadership and oversee operational activities across plantation, processing, refining, and distribution within its agribusiness operations. The role focuses on operational efficiency, profitability, compliance, and long-term business growth.
Oversee daily operations across plantation, milling, refining, and logistics units
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational objectives
Drive operational efficiency and cost optimization across all departments
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Monitor production activities and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with the finance team on budgets, forecasts, and cost management
Lead and supervise operational managers and departmental heads
Optimize supply chain and distribution systems
Establish, monitor, and evaluate operational KPIs and performance metrics
Support expansion projects, investments, and strategic business initiatives
MSc, BSc, or HND in Agriculture, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields
MBA or relevant executive management certification is an added advantage
Minimum of 15 years experience in operations management
At least 5 years experience in a senior leadership role within agribusiness or manufacturing
Strong leadership, operational management, and strategic planning skills
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Production Efficiency Rate above 90% monthly
Cost Reduction Achievement above 15% annually
Operational Downtime below 5% monthly
Yield per Hectare Growth above 10% annually
Supply Chain Efficiency above 90%
HSE Compliance Rate at 100%
Revenue Growth Contribution above 20% annually
