Assistant Production Manager (Oil Palm)

Bridgemead HR is recruiting an Assistant Production Manager to support oil palm production operations by translating production plans into daily execution, optimizing resources, and ensuring efficiency, quality, cost control, and safety compliance across assigned facilities.

Convert weekly and monthly production schedules into daily shift plans

Allocate manpower, machines, and materials for smooth production flow

Monitor production output and implement corrective actions where needed

Manage attendance, shift rosters, overtime, and payroll accuracy

Track machine performance, downtime, and coordinate maintenance activities

Enforce SOPs, quality standards, and waste reduction measures

Monitor production costs and drive efficiency improvements

Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and PPE usage

Prepare daily production and operational reports

Supervise staff discipline, performance, and workforce development

Bachelor’s Degree in Production, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

5–8 years experience in oil palm milling or edible oil processing

2–3 years supervisory or assistant managerial experience

Strong background in production planning, labor control, and cost management

ERP and advanced Excel proficiency

Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement knowledge is an advantage

Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills

95–100% daily production target achievement

Machine utilization ≥ 85%

Labor cost and overtime within budget

Defect and wastage within approved limits

100% payroll accuracy

Zero major safety violations

Timely and accurate reporting
