Job Summary

Ruth and Roots is seeking a warm, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent front desk and administrative support in a healthcare-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and attend to visitors at the front desk in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls appropriately
  • Receive, sort, and manage daily mail and deliveries
  • Greet and assist patients in person and via phone communication
  • Support healthcare professionals and clients as needed
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage bookings
  • Carry out clerical and general administrative duties
  • Prepare and organize medical files and reports
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
  • Manage assigned supplies and ensure proper organization of equipment

Required Qualifications

  • OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Hospitality Management or related field
  • 0–3 years experience in a receptionist or administrative role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional attitude with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Familiarity with office equipment is an added advantage
