Vegetable Farm Business Manager

Sensei Integrated Global Farms is seeking a Business Manager to oversee the commercial, financial, and strategic operations of its vegetable farming enterprise. The role focuses on profitability, market expansion, budgeting, and overall farm business performance while ensuring alignment between production and market demand.

Develop annual business plans, budgets, and financial forecasts Monitor farm profitability, cash flow, and operational expenses Ensure efficient allocation and use of farm resources Analyze production costs and improve profit margins Prepare periodic financial and operational reports Develop market channels for vegetables and farm products Manage customer relationships, contracts, and sales agreements Identify new market opportunities and partnerships Oversee pricing strategies for maximum profitability Support expansion and investment planning for farm growth Monitor industry trends and competitor activities Supervise procurement, inventory, and vendor management Ensure proper stock tracking and accountability Lead administrative, sales, finance, and procurement teams Support staff development and performance management

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, or related field Minimum of 5 years’ experience in agribusiness or farm management Strong financial planning and business analysis skills Experience in agricultural value chains and produce marketing Good leadership and communication skills Strong sales, negotiation, and strategic planning ability Ability to analyze data and prepare reports
