Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end import and export documentation and customs clearance processes
- Ensure compliance with Nigeria Customs regulations and international shipping requirements
- Coordinate shipment documentation and monitor cargo clearance status
- Liaise with customs agents, shipping lines, and terminal operators to resolve issues
- Apply INCOTERMS correctly in all transactions
- Maintain accurate documentation for audit and compliance purposes
- Provide shipment updates and operational reports
- Support process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and turnaround time
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in freight forwarding, customs documentation, or logistics operations
- At least 3 years supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance processes and INCOTERMS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics/customs systems
