Accountant

Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting an experienced Accountant with a background in the interior design, furniture, or showroom industry. The successful candidate will manage financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support business decisions through effective financial reporting.

• Maintain accurate financial records including sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable activities
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Track inventory costs and support showroom stock valuation
• Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Support budgeting and financial planning processes
• Monitor transactions and identify financial discrepancies
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams for accurate revenue reporting
• Maintain documentation for audits and internal controls

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3 – 5 years accounting experience, preferably in interior design, furniture, or showroom environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with inventory accounting is an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
