Assistant Manager, Mechanical Maintenance

Ascentech Services Limited is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Mechanical Maintenance to oversee maintenance operations and ensure the reliability of mechanical systems within a fast-paced FMCG or manufacturing environment. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, improving operational efficiency, and leading maintenance activities.

• Handle mechanical breakdowns independently and ensure quick resolution
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
• Carry out root cause analysis to resolve recurring equipment issues
• Coordinate plant shutdown and turnaround maintenance activities
• Manage spare parts inventory for availability and cost effectiveness
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve processes
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical reports

• B.Sc, B.Tech, or HND in Mechanical Engineering
• 10 – 12 years experience in FMCG or manufacturing industry
• Strong experience in maintenance planning and execution
• Knowledge of shutdown management and equipment troubleshooting
• Good understanding of root cause analysis methods
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
