The ideal candidate will handle patient communication, appointment scheduling, inquiries, and support services while ensuring excellent customer experience and accurate record management.

Key Responsibilities
Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, confirmations, and patient bookings using EMR or hospital management systems
Respond to inbound calls and emails, providing information about eye care services, procedures, and doctor availability
Handle patient complaints professionally, resolve concerns, and support patient satisfaction initiatives
Conduct patient experience surveys and follow-up communication
Record patient details, complaints, and inquiries accurately in the system
Verify patient demographics, insurance details, and prepare necessary correspondence
Work closely with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient care coordination
Make outbound calls to follow up on patient well-being and service satisfaction
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Health Information Management, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a healthcare or medical call center environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to communicate in local languages such as Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa is an added advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with EMR systems and hospital software is preferred
High level of empathy, patience, and professionalism
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation
Basic understanding of medical or eye care terminology is an advantage
Knowledge of patient confidentiality and data protection standards
