Portfolio Manager

Lotus Capital Limited, a leading ethical investment management firm and pioneer in non-interest finance in Nigeria, is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee investment portfolios, drive performance, and support strategic investment decisions across asset classes.

• Monitor macroeconomic trends, financial markets, and provide investment guidance
• Evaluate investment opportunities and develop detailed investment recommendations
• Build, manage, and optimize portfolios across multiple asset classes in line with mandates
• Conduct financial analysis, trading assessments, and develop valuation models
• Oversee execution of trades and ensure proper settlement processes
• Maintain accurate portfolio records and transaction data integrity
• Track portfolio performance and ensure alignment with benchmark targets
• Carry out periodic portfolio reviews to improve performance and efficiency
• Prepare and present investment strategy and performance reports
• Support additional investment management responsibilities as required

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage
• Professional certification in finance or accounting is highly desirable
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in portfolio management or a similar role
• Experience in equities and fixed income markets is preferred
• Strong understanding of macroeconomic trends and capital markets
• Knowledge of trading strategies and investment analysis
• Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong ethical standards and integrity
• Knowledge of non-interest finance principles is an added advantage
