Job Summary

Digitvant Microfinance Bank, a digital banking and fintech-driven microfinance institution, is seeking a Deposit Mobilization Officer to drive deposit growth, build strong client relationships, and support funding objectives across retail and institutional segments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to attract fixed deposits, savings, and liability products from individuals and institutions



Source and acquire new deposit clients through field engagement, networking, referrals, partnerships, and digital channels



Build and manage relationships with HNIs, SMEs, cooperatives, corporate bodies, and associations



Promote cross-selling of deposit products while maintaining strong customer engagement and retention



Monitor competitor offerings and market trends to support effective positioning of deposit products



Ensure all deposit mobilization activities comply with internal policies and regulatory standards



Track deposit growth performance and prepare regular reports on targets, leads, conversions, and renewals



Collaborate with internal teams including operations, compliance, and marketing for seamless client onboarding and service delivery

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field



3–5 years’ experience in deposit mobilization within a microfinance bank, fintech, or commercial bank



Strong understanding of financial statements and business analysis



Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills



Ability to work independently and meet targets under pressure



Knowledge of the SME ecosystem



Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness



Customer-focused mindset with integrity and trustworthiness



Proximity to Egbeda is an added advantage



Digital literacy and familiarity with CRM tools



Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking ability
