Conduct on-site inspections and verify work-in-progress for accuracy and quality compliance
Approve interim payment certifications based on verified site progress
Monitor material usage to prevent wastage, theft, or over-ordering
Prepare monthly cost-to-complete reports and financial forecasts
Conduct budget vs actual cost analysis and recommend corrective actions
Manage project cash flow reporting in coordination with procurement data
Evaluate and price variations, design changes, and additional works
Lead negotiations for non-standard site costs and variations
Identify and mitigate financial and technical risks affecting project delivery
Supervise and mentor junior quantity surveyor staff
Ensure value-for-money principles are maintained across all site operations
Report project financial status to senior management and stakeholders
