Job Summary

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative and operational support to senior leadership, ensuring smooth coordination of communications, schedules, and business activities, particularly within the Nigerian market and cross-functional operations.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Manage executive calendars, appointments, and multi-time-zone scheduling
  • Handle email correspondence, follow-ups, and internal/external communications
  • Coordinate workflows, tasks, and priority tracking for leadership
  • Support client engagement, outreach, and business communication activities
  • Maintain organized records, reports, and documentation systems
  • Update and manage CRM platforms and ensure data accuracy
  • Assist in research, operational planning, and administrative support tasks
  • Ensure timely execution of assigned responsibilities and deadlines

Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or related field
  • Professional certifications in administration, operations, or project management are an advantage
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in roles such as Executive Assistant, Virtual Assistant, Chief of Staff, or B2B Operations Associate
  • Must be based in Nigeria with stable internet (minimum 20 Mbps) and reliable power backup
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian business environment, SMBs, and payment platforms like Paystack and Flutterwave
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and at least one CRM (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools
  • Strong documentation, formatting, and organizational skills
  • Highly proactive, self-managed, and able to work independently
  • Availability for 3–4 hours daily overlap with Eastern Time (WAT afternoon/evening)
  • Added advantage: familiarity with WhatsApp Business tools, Canva, Figma, or experience in B2B SaaS, AI, or GovTech environments
  • Added advantage: knowledge of Nigerian languages or networks within fintech/startup ecosystems
