Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily facility operations across both Abuja and Lagos locations
- Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans
- Ensure all electrical systems and installations function efficiently
- Monitor facility performance and resolve issues proactively
- Manage electrical infrastructure including power systems, wiring, and lighting
- Supervise installation, repairs, and upgrades of electrical equipment
- Ensure stable power supply through generators, inverters, and backup systems
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and enforce safety procedures
- Manage vendors and contractors, ensuring quality service delivery
- Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance
- Prepare and manage maintenance budgets and control operational costs
- Optimize energy use and reduce facility expenses
- Maintain facility standards across showroom, production, and office spaces
- Coordinate space planning and infrastructure adjustments
- Supervise facility staff and provide regular operational reports
- Collaborate with management on operational improvements and expansion plans
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4 to 6 years experience in facility management or similar role
- Proven experience handling electrical systems in commercial or production environments
- Experience managing multiple locations is an added advantage
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and facility operations
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Good vendor management and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Knowledge of generators, inverters, and backup power systems
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems is an added advantage
